March 31, 2004- Added a link to my robot project at UCSD. November 15, 2003-Experimental launch out in the Ocotillo desert. Flew three rockets, clips are up check them out here. March 2, 2003-Been a while since i have added new stuff, but put a another clip and updated some areas. June 21, 2002- Mudrock EX-Flew Exodus to nearly 14,000' on a GC M2100, a 4" rocket on a GC L1200 to 10,300', my Laser LOC on a GC L1100 to 12,300', and a 38mm rocket on a GC J850 at mach 2, the ejection charge blew at 8,000' while it was still traveling at 1080 feet per second. May 17, 2002- TCC had its first ex launch, I flew the Dictator on a GC M2100 red, my new 4" rocket on an GC L1500, and my Laser Loc on a GC J980. Check out the clips. March 10, 2002- I static fired my slight alteration of Darren Wright's and Ted Prosues pink formulaion in a PVC single use motor, i have an mpeg in the clips section and a picture in the EX section. March 2, 2002- Static fired 10,00Ns M motor! Go to clips. January 29, 2002-New stuff in experimental section. January 22, 2002- New projects added. November 22, 2001-Static tested a load in the Loki 38mm 1100Ns case, go to the exprimental page. October 30, 2001-Site moved to groveraerospace.com October 14, 2001-ARLISS story aired on KXTV channel 10, which included a small interview with me. Click here to check it out. October 5, 2001- The experimental day at BlackRock 13. I flew Exodus on a L1060 and my Loc magnum on a J300, both homebrewed motors worked perfectly. Landings were a bit rough on both flights, minor damage only (Exodus already fixed). September 2001-More static testing, successful firings of many "J" motors and two "L" motors. August 25, 2001- My CanSat entry in the ARLISS program is a success. My project flew in Bob Fortune's rocket at AERONAUT 2001. July 2001- Lots of motor making and experimenting. June 23, 2001- I am now L3 certified! The launch went perfect, reaching 9,522' at MUDROC 8.0. I hope to have pictures soon. April 6, 2001- I have added some Level three construction pictures, Click here. March 18, 2001-The March Tripoli Central California launch was huge! I entered my 3" PML AMRAAM in the closest to the mile contest, reaching 5,427' on a J275. I forgot my cable to download the data from the Altacc so I couldn't get a reading till I got home. I believe I would have been in the competition. January 29, 2001- More Balls 2000 pictures. January 21, 2001- The Magnum has a perfect flight once again, this time on a J800 to 3,597'. Click here to see it. November 3, 2000- I have started my level three page, it has much work to be done on it. Click here. September 30, October1-BALLS 2000 was awesome!! It was a complete success. I flew the Dictator on a Kosdon L1250 blue, Laser LOC on a J280 Skidmark, and my AMRAAM on another J280 Skidmark. All great flights! Launch report coming shortly. Click here to see some pictures September 2, 2000- The Magnum flies again on an I420 to 1084'. August 20, 2000- I went to the Tripoli Central California's monthly launch and had a great time. Launched my Magnum on a J460 to 2098' with my new Altacc, and My Performer on a J275 to around 3400'. May 20-21-- Dairy Aire 2000 is a complete success click here for the launch report. Click here for the pictures. ---April 16, 2000- At the Tripoli Central California launch I certified L1 and L2. I flew my Public Enemy Bullpup on a I357 for L1, and a J180 in my PE Performer after getting a 100% on my L2 test for L2. The performer reached 3,201'. March 12, 2000-Launched my 4" Performer on a I435 to 2,123' for a perfect flight. February 22, 2000-Launched my PVC scratch-build for the first time. Flew it twice on G35's. Both perfect flights. January 26, 2000-I have started working on my 7.6"x8.5' rocket. It will have a 98mm MMT and will be completely fiberglassed. I think I'm going to call it The Dictator. November 12, 1999- The LOC magnum flew on a I420 for a perfect flight. From 1032' it landed 20 yards from the pad!! September 11, 1999-The death of the 6" Public Enemy Fatboy. It was a great bird, had 6 good flights. Died on a K1100 because of no ejection at Blackrock '99 |
